Common questions
Do I need a new WhatsApp number?
Yes, and we strongly recommend one. A number connected to the WhatsApp Business Platform moves over permanently: it stops working in the regular WhatsApp app, and your personal chats can no longer be opened from it. Don’t use your personal number. You can start with Telegram today without any number at all.
Do I need a commercial license to start?
Not to sign up and try it. You’ll need one to verify your business with Meta, which raises your sending limits and unlocks your production number.
Where is my data stored?
On Google Cloud infrastructure in the Gulf region, with encrypted daily backups that we check by actually restoring them, not by assuming they worked.
Can I export my data or close my account?
Yes, at any time. Your conversations and customers belong to you. If you close your account, you have thirty days to change your mind and export everything before it is permanently deleted.
How long does it take to get going?
